Precision Diagnostics Companies Lead Preventive Healthcare Revolution - precision diagnostics
The global market for longevity clinics is valued at $6 billion, growing at 12.5% annually.

The pursuit of longevity has captivated human imagination for centuries, evolving from ancient myths to modern scientific endeavors. Today, advancements in genomics, multi-omics profiling, and advanced imaging are transforming preventive healthcare.

The global market for longevity clinics is experiencing rapid growth, with an annual rate of 12.5% and a current value of $6 billion. Leading companies like Six Senses, Healthspan, and Parsley Health are pioneering innovative diagnostic services aimed at preventing illness and extending healthy lifespans.

Everlab: Personalized Health from Australia

Founded in 2023, Everlab originated from a Melbourne clinic led by Dr. Steven Lu, who shifted his focus from intensive care to prevention after witnessing the impact of chronic diseases. Partnering with Sam Kothari, a former Airwallex employee, Everlab expanded across Australia.

Everlab’s services start with a health baseline analysis for AUD 299, including blood tests for over 40 biomarkers, a doctor consultation, and access to an AI health chatbot. Their premium plan costs AUD 2,700 annually, offering muscle and bone scans, physical assessments, and optional microbiome and genetic profiling.

With partnerships across Australia, Everlab has served over 20,000 patients and secured corporate clients like Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company. The company raised AUD 65 million in a Series A round in 2026, fueling its international expansion, starting with the U.K.

Fountain Life: Early Detection and Full Care

Founded in 2020 by Dr. William Kapp, Fountain Life was inspired by a conference session featuring Peter Diamandis and Robert Hariri. The company merged with Fountain Therapeutics, a stem cell startup co-founded by Tony Robbins.

Fountain Life’s approach includes health history reviews, in-depth diagnostics, and personalized health plans. Their CORE membership, priced at $10,500, offers AI-guided diagnostics like full-body MRI scans and whole genome sequencing. The APEX package, at $23,500, includes skin cancer tests and epigenetic age measurements.

Operating in Naples, Orlando, Dallas, and New York, Fountain Life raised $18 million in a Series B round in 2025, bringing its total funding to $108 million. The company plans to expand its centers and enhance its precision health approaches.

Function Health, founded in 2021 and based in Austin, Texas, provides over 160 lab tests annually for $365. Members also access AI-guided scanning technology and personalized health protocols. Partnering with Equinox and GRAIL, Function Health directs members to over 2,000 labs owned by Quest Diagnostics.

Human Longevity: Pioneering Genomics and Wellness

Founded in 2013 by Craig Venter, a key figure in sequencing the first human genome, Human Longevity (HLI) initially aimed to build a vast clinical and genomics database for healthcare research.

After raising $220 million in a 2016 Series B round, HLI shifted its focus to its Health Nucleus wellness service, offering early detection through whole-genome sequencing, MRI scans, and metabolomics.

HLI’s basic genome sequencing costs $599, while broader programs range from $8,000 to $19,000 annually. The company has served over 10,000 clients and offers an executive health program for corporate clients.

In 2020, HLI sold its oncology sequencing business to NeoGenomics and acquired DoctorsForMe, a digital patient-doctor matching platform.

Challenges and Risks in Preventative Healthcare

The preventative healthcare industry faces regulatory and data privacy challenges. Many companies must meet strict requirements and control patient data carefully. As an emerging field, excessive testing can lead to false positives, causing patient anxiety and adding costs to healthcare systems.

Investors, including Left Lane Capital, Airtree Ventures, and Redpoint Ventures, have shown confidence in these companies, providing significant funding. This support enables firms to expand services, acquire technology, and reach more clients, but they must handle challenges to ensure long-term success and accessibility.

Radence: Asset-Light Precision Health

Launched in 2024 and incubated by RA Capital Management’s healthcare incubator Raven, Radence offers memberships focused on reducing health risks through genomic, imaging, and biomarker diagnostics.

Memberships, priced at $50,000 annually, include dedicated concierge services, continuous health monitoring, and personalized health plans. Radence has around three dozen members and partners with institutions like Mount Sinai to leverage advanced technology.

The company’s asset-light model avoids fixed equipment, relying on partnerships with health systems and academic centers. Its protocols are developed with TechAtlas, RA Capital’s scientific research division.
